Adwords Specialists-Vital Aspect Of Online Business

By , August 30, 2015 5:25 pm

There is one vital aspect of any business either online or off – customers. Without customers, you won’t have a business. One way to get those potential customers online is to generate more traffic. One tool to get that traffic is by using adwords specialists.

What is are adwords specialists? Well, they are people who are well trained and well versed in the use of Adwords.

If you are not sure what the Adwords program is, here is a brief overview:

1. This is what is called a Pay Per Click (PPC) form of advertising.

What that means is that you place ads based on certain keywords and when someone clicks on your ad they will be taken to your website.

You will only pay when someone actually clicks on your ad, not just when they see it.

2. Google has the PPC program that is called Adwords, but Yahoo and Bing also have PPC programs that are run in a similar fashion.

Some people use the term “adwords” in a generic way for any PPC program whether run by Google or not.

3. How much you will pay when someone clicks on your ad can vary a lot. It will be based on the specific keywords that you target as well as fairly complicated quality scores that Google will assign you.

These quality scores are based on many factors and if you have a high quality score you can actually pay less for a click than a competitor who is bidding on the exact same keyword but has a worse quality score than you.

4. Adwords can work very well to generate traffic, but it has a steep learning curve and since you are paying as you are learning, it will cost you a lot of money and probably not provide you with many benefits, in the beginning at least.

So, now that you know a little bit more about what the Adwords, and PPC in general, is all about, you may realize that getting an expert to help you navigate it all is a good idea.

When choosing someone who can run your PPC campaigns for you, you need to make sure that they really are qualified.

Anyone can call themselves an expert, but that doesn’t mean they really are. Make sure that the person you hire really knows what they are doing.

If not, you will pay more since not only will you be paying for each click, you will also be paying this so called expert to set up your campaigns for you.

Google does offer a certification program so make sure that before you hire anyone they really have gone through it and passed it.

Also, really make sure it is worth your while. If you are new to internet marketing, you need to know that your website is set up properly and converting properly.

If not, you will spend a lot of money to get people to your site but they won’t spend any money and all the money you spend on PPC will be wasted.

There are many places where you can find adwords specialists to help with your PPC campaigns, just make sure they are what they say they are… a specialist.

How the Internet and Marketing Go Hand-in-Hand

It’s hard to think of a better combination than the Internet and marketing. Where else can you reach the hundreds, thousands, or even millions who make up your target market. Whether you are a small, local business, or a large corporation, internet marketing is indispensible. It’s been proven that most folks don’t even glance at a yellow pages book anymore to find a local business. Nor do they go on the online yellow pages. Now, the average consumer just types their need into their search engine, whether it be Google, Yahoo, Bing, or any of the other hundreds out there. If you want to come up in their searches, you need to learn how to take advantage of the Internet and marketing, or hire someone to do it for you.

If you’re a local business, you don’t even need a website to come up in Google, Yahoo, or Bing searches. All you need to do is fill in your information on their Local Business pages. You can include your company name, contact details, directions, photos, and a website if you have one. You can also choose to offer coupons for your customers, which brings you up in popularity and rankings. These pages also offer users the chance to review what it is that you offer. Ask your happy customers to review you, and you are also boosted in ranking. And the best part of all? This listing is completely free! Think of how much you save on yellow pages or newspaper ads that are no longer even getting results. If you run a local business, take the few minutes it will take you to get listed on the search engine local results and you can start seeing traffic immediately. Other free options include setting up accounts on Twitter, FaceBook, and YouTube, or any of the other social media sites. Blogging is another way to create interest and establish credibility in your field.

If you haven’t yet merged the Internet and marketing for your larger company or corporation, luckily you can get in on the game very quickly whether you hire staff to handle this for you or you outsource the job to someone else. One of the major sources of income for larger companies who take advantage of internet marketing is pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. While this type of advertising is not free, you only pay when someone actually clicks on your ad. This is one of the huge advantages of pay-per-click versus offline advertising. You only pay when you get results. Large companies are also taking advantage of FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube, and blogging. If they are using these free methods even though they have millions of dollars to spend on marketing, you better believe that this is working for them.

The Internet and marketing really are two extremely compatible terms–make sure that you are teaming them up in your business.

Internet Marketing Metrics

By , August 26, 2015 11:30 pm

Internet marketing is a fairly easy business to learn. Most anyone can learn the skills needed to build a successful business online. You don’t need to be an MBA but you will need to know how to figure out a few internet marketing metrics.

You see, with all kinds of marketing you need to be able to determine what works and what doesn’t. All forms of marketing cost, whether the cost is in money or time. You can’t afford to waste either one on a marketing method that isn’t producing results.

This is where internet marketing metrics comes into play. As an online business owner you need to devote your resources only to those activities that actually help you make money.

All the other things are just a waste of time and should either be totally eliminated or outsourced to others so you can give your undivided attention to those activities that will increase your bottom line.

Here are just a few of the things you need to be able to monitor to make sure you are getting the most out of all your online efforts:

1. Website traffic. Of course you want to know how much traffic your site is getting but there are many other things you want to be able to follow too. There are the unique visitors vs. the repeat visitors.

Knowing where the visitor is coming from as well as where they go when they leave your site. How much time does each visitor spend on your site? What page(s) do they go to?

All of these things will help you get a very complete picture of your website visitors and their behavior. That in turn will enable you to more effectively target them.

2. Knowing where visitors are coming from is also important if you want to know which marketing methods are the most effective. Most internet marketers will use various methods to get visitors to their sites. As I said above, those methods will require either time or money and you don’t want to waste either on things that don’t work.

Finding what keywords and marketing methods are really driving traffic to your site is very important. You can throw out those things that don’t work and put more effort into those that are extremely effective.

3. Email marketing is a very effective way of establishing rapport and trust with your website visitors. But, how can you know if your emails are getting opened and read?

What subject lines seem to work and which ones don’t? You need to be able to make changes and monitor the results of each change so you can hone the process down until you have the highest open rate you can get.

I know, if you are just starting out, that all of this can sound really confusing. But it’s not, once you get to know it. When you are just starting you will only be concentrating on getting traffic to your site, then you can start to learn how to tweak things to get the absolute best combination of settings.

There are many free tools that can help you with internet marketing metrics. Don’t let it overwhelm you, just take it slow and you will figure it out.

Internet Marketing Consultant Will Help Your Business

By , August 25, 2015 2:37 am

If you have been wondering how to attract more traffic to your online website and can’t seem to get things going on your own, maybe you should consider hiring an internet marketing consultant to help. You will be pleasantly surprised to find out how beneficial hiring one could be to your bottom line. That’s why you went into business in the first place right? To make money.

An internet marketing consultant can help improve every aspect of your current marketing campaign and make them better and more effective. They will probably concentrate on the three main areas of marketing. These three areas are SEO, or search engine optimization, email marketing, and social media marketing.

Search engine optimization means that they will help you get your website ranked higher on the search engines by either optimizing the keywords that are used by the searchers for products like you have to offer. Or they could also help you build back links on other reputable sites that will lead people to your website when clicked. The quality of the back link depends on the quality of the site it is on. The better the site the better the back link.

This will influence Google to keep your website ranking high therefore increasing your traffic and, hopefully, sales. If the consultant you hire really knows what he is doing, you will be on the first page of the Google results page when people search for your product. People need to see what you have to offer and if you land on any other page than the first page you will never get noticed. You could have the best product in the world but if no one can find you it does not matter.

Your consultant should then concentrate on putting together a good email marketing plan for you. The way to make money on the internet is to have a good, strong list of subscribers. You need an effective way to collect email addresses and keep them organized so you can send out newsletters and other tidbits of information that they will be interested in. Just be sure that you are not breaking any spamming rules and regulations. The money is in the list.

To attract more local business your consultant needs to know how to plug you in to the social media sites. More and more business people like yourself are advertising on the social media sites and finding a marked increase in their business and sales. If you want to raise your online profile in the local market this is something that your consultant should help you do.

Using these three areas of marketing your internet marketing consultant should be able to help you increase traffic to your site. Not just any traffic either, the traffic you will start to get will be more people looking to buy than people just looking. If you give them what they want then you should have no problem increasing sales and your bottom line.

Video Marketing For Newbies – Dont Complicate It

By , August 23, 2015 5:56 am

With the continuing decline in the attention span of most of the people online, it’s only inevitable that more advertisers would turn to video as a way to get their message out. If you’re new to online marketing, or a ‘newbie’ than you’ll want to learn as much as possible about video marketing for newbies. It’s not tough, and all indications are that it’s the wave of the future.

You can use videos on your website or blog to capture the attention of your reader far more quickly and effectively (if it’s done right) than you could with just the printed word. You can also use videos to drive traffic to your website or blog. The search engines love fresh content and that includes new videos.

The basic steps to the process are pretty much the same as with article marketing, except of course, you are creating a video. There are many low cost, or even free video software products that will make it possible for you to do a full presentation and teach your visitors an important skill. That will keep them coming back for more, if you give them something of value before you ask them for the sale.

First you will need to determine what the topic of your video will be. Find some issue or problem that faces a lot of people in your niche market. Then create a video that will provide an answer or solution to that problem. Don’t worry about getting too fancy. Just make sure the video and audio are clear and that you don’t talk too fast or stutter and stumble over your words.

It’s really annoying to have to try and sit through some tutorial where every other word is ‘ah’. Rehearse and practice before you start recording. If you are demonstrating something in real time, pause the recording while you are waiting for the website to load or during any other time when things are moving slowly. Don’t expect your viewer to have to sit through a 45 minute video when the information can be demonstrated in just 10 minutes.

Once you’ve decided on the topic of your video and you’ve got a rough ‘script’ written, it’s time to incorporate some carefully chosen keywords. This will make it possible for your video to get a top ranking on the search engines. When you write the title, description or tags for your website you will use these keywords. If you’ve chosen good keywords (3-5 word keyword phrases that get high monthly searches with relatively low competition) than your video will rank well, if it ranks well you will get a ton of very qualified traffic to your website… for free!

Now you’ve got your video recorded, your title tags and description keywords optimized (with the URL of your website front and center), next step is to submit your video to video directories. I’m sure most of you have heard of YouTube, which is a great place to start. You can also do a search and find other online video directories where you can submit your video to.

That’s pretty much it in a nutshell. You can record a Power Point Presentation where you illustrate how to do something or you can do a screen capture style video where people are looking over you shoulder while you do something, either way you’ll have great success with video marketing for newbies if you follow these tips.

Get Rich Quick Internet Marketing-Can You Really Get Rich Quick

By , August 21, 2015 8:29 am

Can you really get rich quick internet marketing? Yes and no. Yes, you can get unbelievably rich, but no it won’t be quick (unless of course you think that “quick” means in a year or so).

Of course another thing to consider when asking the question can you “get rich quick internet marketing” is what you consider to be “rich”?

If your idea of rich is making a six figure income you may well be able to do that in six months. Is that a likely scenario for someone just starting out? No. Is it possible? Yes.

You see I’ve been making a full time living online for a long time now and one thing I see over and over again is that so many people don’t really understand what internet marketing is or how to do it properly.

The internet provides virtually unlimited possibilities for those who know what they are doing, but too few people actually take the time to learn the skills they need to capitalize on that potential.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people think they can just set up a blog or website and the money will start rolling in. In what other career do you think people would think like that?

How many people think that they can just open a auto repair shop, even though they know nothing of how to repair a car, and they will be rich in a few weeks? I’m pretty sure the answer to that is “no one”.

But you see it all the time online, people just aren’t willing to invest the time to learn the skills to be successful and they don’t treat their internet business like a real business but rather more like a hobby.

So, what is the true secret to getting rich online? Well, here is a list of some of the things you need to do to make that dream a reality:

1. Take your time. An online business, much the same as an offline business, will take time to get off the ground. It usually won’t take as long online as it would off, but it will take time for your business to gain momentum and customers.

2. Learn the skills. You don’t need a degree or to go back to college, but you do need to know the basics and continue to learn more as you go. There are a lot of places online where you can sign up and get the basic knowledge you need to get started.

Most of these online training courses can be completed in a week or two (possibly even less depending on how much time you can devote to it).
Once you know the basics you can start your online career.

Sometimes you can actually start building your business while you are in the training. Often, the training is set up to teach you one concept and than you can implement that concept, than you go on and learn another concept and implement that concept, etc.

So you see, it is possible to make a lot of money online and you can do it quickly and with a very small initial investment, but the whole idea of get rich quick internet marketing is misleading.

Your Guide Towards Guaranteed Web Traffic

By , August 19, 2015 11:28 am

A common mistake that new online marketers make is to create a website and then think of ways to get guaranteed web traffic to it. While that is an intuitive thought, you should really first put some analysis into the traffic before you even establish your website. The reason for this is that SEO (search Engine Optimization) will be an important way for you to gain organic traffic, and if you do it the right way, you can start seeing visitors right away.

SEO is comprised of two elements: relevant keywords and backlinks or, as some people refer to them, incoming links. Before you develop your website, you will need to have an idea of the keywords that you want to target and make sure that they are included in the website’s content in order to get guaranteed web traffic. It’s generally recommended that when you first start out, you should go for the lower-search volume keyword phrases, rather than the more competitive general terms.

For example, if your business focuses on jewelry, you might want to identify a more specific keyword like “costume jewelry” or even more narrow, like “costume jewelry earings”. The keywords that you will include on your website should be the exact terms that people are looking for when they do a search online. And you can find these keywords very easily by using the Google Adwords Keyword Tool which is completely free of charge.

This tool gives you keywords that are relevant to your business and also provides information about how competitive the keywords are, how often they are searched for, and how much people are bidding on them for PPC ads. You want to locate the lower-searched terms that have less competition. Identify three to five that you can use early on in your website or blog.

In general, each keyword should be used once in some sort of important position in your site or on your blog (like the title or page header), in the first five words of any description following the title or heading), and in the last sentence of the content. In the body of your content, it should be used no more than three percent of the time. Before you start looking for backlinks, you want to have at least five articles (of about 500 words) on your blog or at least five pages of your website.

Then you can start working on obtaining backlinks. You can do this by submitting articles about your business to article directories, Squiddoo, HubPages, or article directories and linking them back to your website. Or you can comment on blogs and forums that are related to your industry, and include your link in your comments.

These are just a few ways that you can get backlinks to your site. The more quality backlinks you have, the better the search engines “like” you, the higher you will be ranked in search engine results, and the more guaranteed web traffic you will obtain.

Using A Traffic Exchange Program To Promote Your Business

By , August 17, 2015 2:52 pm

Advertising your business website through ads and links is a common way of driving traffic to your business offer. But if you want to go a little bit further with a relatively inexpensive method, you can try participating in a traffic exchange program.

Traffic exchanges are just one of the many methods of driving more traffic to your website. Here’s how it works. In most cases you sign up for free (and you can upgrade at any time should you decide to do so). Many of the traffic exhanges offer you free credits to get started. Your first step is to promote the website that you are trying to get traffic to. So, you will write a short compelling text and which invites people to click on your link and then you’ll post this.

Next, you need to get this site circulated and in order to do that, you need to start earning credits. How do you earn credits? By clicking on the other posted advertisements in the traffic exchange program. Each time you click on an advertisment and remain there for a specified amount of time (usually around 15 seconds), you will earn credits. The more credits you earn, the more visible you will be to the other members of the site. If you don’t want to spend the time surfing and don’t mind spending a little money, you can either upgrade membership or buy additional credits. This way, you won’t have to surf other sites to use your credits.

A traffic exchange is really similar to any simple exchange of benefits. Besides exchanging traffic through the traffic exchange programs, you can also interact with other website owners. While surfing other sites, you will most likely come across sites that complement yours. At this point, you can contact the webmaster or owner of a website you’re interested in and can arrange to exchange links as well, which ads to your site ranking.

There is something that you do want to avoid. Do not use traffic exchanges if you have Google Adsense on the page that you are promoting on the traffic exchange. Google Adsense does not allow this. However, you can use a lead capture page in the traffic exchange which then forwards to your Google Adsense page. This is a good way to get the leads and traffic to your site.

Traffic exchange is an easy way to generate more traffic to your site. This can be considered a more pro-active way of pursuing traffic, since the number of visits to your site depends on the number of websites you also browse through. If your website is new, traffic exchanges can be an extremely effective method to get traffic – it is more or less foolproof. Each Traffic exchange program differs but they all offer you the chance to make sure that traffic is getting to your site.

Internet Marketing System

By , August 15, 2015 6:00 pm

If you are interested in making money from home your best bet may be to find a reputable internet marketing system available out there. But, as with most things, there are some disadvantages that you need to be aware of as well. The more you educate yourself on both the good and the bad aspects of having an online business then the better off you will be when you run into trouble.

The most important thing to remember, and it seems even the big boys sometimes forget, is that the internet is just a tool and if it is used correctly, it can really help you grow your business and, therefore, your bottom line.

Some people see the internet as some sort of miracle worker that will only provide you with good things. You need to know how much you are willing to invest in an internet marketing system and have realistic expectations about what you are hoping to gain.

You also have to understand that even though your potential customer base may be world wide, your competition will be world wide as well. If you choose a niche where the big boys are well established you should realize that unless you have the time and the budget you will not be able to go head to head with them in the market place.

There are some advantages of marketing your business online that you should consider. Say you found a niche that you feel confident about and have everything set up including your website and you are driving a decent amount of traffic to that website. Did you know that
you can be making sales all day everyday. The web never sleeps and even while you are many other people around the world are just starting their days. You can have a store open all the time which can greatly increase your sales.

You can very inexpensively build a list of customers if you have an opt-in page. You get their contact information when they sign up so now you can send them valuable information quickly and a lot less expensively than you could offline. Doing this will allow you to act fast when you are running specials that need fast attention.

One big disadvantage of having an online business is the lack of a personal interaction with your customers. When deciding to make a purchase, sometimes people need the personal recommendation of the salesperson. I know it sounds weird but some people need that validation, they like to interact with the salesperson before they take whatever it is they are buying home.

That personal touch simply is not an option with an online business. It’s also important to note that while a significant, and growing, number of people regularly make purchases online, there are still a lot of households that don’t use the internet to make purchases. You might want to consider doing a demographic study on who it is exactly that is visiting your website.

All in all it just makes sense for you to take full advantage an internet marketing system to increase your business. Everyone has their own way of doing things and some will get more benefit than others, but I can’t think of a scenario where having an impeccable website could actually hurt your business.

Adwords Services-Another Name For Pay Per Click

By , August 13, 2015 8:56 pm

When many people decide to start an online business one of the biggest selling points is time freedom. We don’t want to work full time but we do want a full time income. Using outsourcing is one way to accomplish that. You can find Adwords services that will do much of the work for you.

If you aren’t familiar with the term “Adwords” it simply refers to a Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising model. You, as the website owner, would place an ad that targets certain keywords that relate to your niche.

Say you are selling golf clubs and your keyword is “golf clubs”. In that case you will place an ad that uses the keyword in the ad.

Then, when someone does a search for golf clubs your ad will hopefully show up in the first few and people will click on it and be taken to your website.

But, there are many elements that go into that seemingly simple process.

Things like Click Through Rate (CTR) as well as quality scores will all determine not only where your ad will show up (how high it shows up in the results) but also what you will pay for each click.

Google isn’t the only game in town either when it comes to PPC. Both Yahoo and Bing have similar PPC advertising options.

These types of campaigns can be extremely effective at getting traffic to your site. The traffic that you get will be very targeted and ready to buy too… if you use the right keywords.

But I think it is clear from this very basic tutorial that the process isn’t really that easy. There are many elements that all go together to ensure success with Adwords or any other PPC program.

For that reason, it might make sense for you to allocate some of your advertising budget to hiring a company to provide your Adwords services for you.

It can definitely take time to learn what keywords to target, how to create your ads, how to tweak your ads to increase your CTR which will increase your quality score, etc.

Since you will be paying as you go, it might be less expensive to hire someone who knows how to do all of this already so you can pay them and get results immediately.

It may not save you any money, but it may make the difference between wasting money trying to figure it out and not getting any traffic, and spending money on an expert and actually getting traffic right from the start.

I have been providing online training for several years now and one thing I tell my readers is that they should stay away from using Adwords when they first start out.

There is a learning curve and it will cost you more than you will make. If you have a limited budget, use other free or inexpensive methods for getting traffic until you are making more money.

Of course, instead of waiting to use Adwords until your business is profitable, you can also hire Adwords services and have a professional do it for you. It’s your choice.
