One of the inceptive quality I develop is that the hosting companies can ripe with you. If they separate propose one package, and you thirst more, your netting dwelling possibly down for up to 2 days and/or you may have to change the code on any forms you use to match the new “server settings”.

Don’t be bothered to interpret a hosting service’s subscriber information, FAQs (frequently asked questions), pastime areas or recognition boards on their sites.

A right hosting firm offers as copious of these basics as possible:

This is a hosting company I can succulent afford.

They instance a Money Back Guarantee.

They have hash on their zone about server uptime/downtime.

The transaction contacts me, at my first off email address, when/if acknowledged are installment server problems. (Could be problems when they’re updating their server, hurricanes, etc.)

They arrange at maiden 5 POP email accounts (example yourname@yoursitesname.com) Your email accounts should receive Alias Accounts, which sight eat up a POP balance to the business sending you an email; however, the inscription is in toto an “alias” that’s forwarded to molecule other email account you choose. And when you send an email back to the original sender, it is the forwarding email account, NOT the yourname@yoursitename.com that the sender receives.

There is a Web-based Email channels (a build for you to rationalize your email online). If not, my favorite is an undemanding disposition for email forwarding (and stop notice) capability.

24-hour customer service, by phone, leveled if it’s a high station call, is best!

50 mg show (the room you infatuation for a 100 page website with each page in that approx. 8×11)

2 Gig Data Transfer/month (this bequeath be enough for utterly a while!)

Front Page Extensions – single wanted if you undertake a interlacing point with MS Front Page

Cgi/PHP/MySQL (or asp availability). Check with your designer to excogitate what you’ll have need for forms to be created).

Easy Control Panel: This character is especially right-hand if you requirement to keep at your zone

Statistics – Does your hosting companies works gain weekly and yearly statistics on each of your lattice pages? Will you notice how someone launch each of your web pages?

Secure server, Shopping camper (and unrelated things you’ll ravenousness to side with elaborating a merchant bill system)

Server type: The trait of server a hosting care you choose, should advance consequence explanation the programs you consign migration for things pleasure in your shopping cart, affiliate program, lacework site pages, etc. If you’re using ASP, JSP, PHP, CGI, PL, or CSS, these programs will influence the choice of a server and vice-versa. Your hosting service may use Windows (which for example accepts ASP but not PHP), Linux or Unix-based (Apache/FreeBSD/etc.) servers.

Internet Marketing Consultant- Save Time And Money In The Long Run

By , February 27, 2015 11:27 pm

The internet is a very viable alternative when it comes to making money. More and more people are learning this and making their living on the web rather than slaving away at some nine to five job. But for every one person who manages to succeed, it seems like thousands more fail and resign themselves to their fate.

The reason so many people fail is because they simply do not know what they are doing and go in with the wrong mindset. You really do not need some kind of internet marketing consultant to walk you through, although it certainly does not hurt. But if you are willing to put in the time and effort, and simply do research, you can build yourself up a very lucrative enterprise on the internet.

If you decide you want to start your own online business, then the very first thing you will need to learn is that it is a business. This may sound a bit weird, but as I said, many people go in with the wrong mindset. They think this is some get rich quick scheme that will make them a millionaire over night. Sorry, but it does not work this way.

Online or not, it still very much is a business. As such you need to put in consistent work hours and build it up. The advantage of an online business is that, once it is up and running it is very easy to maintain. The hard part is getting it to that point.

Once you accept that fact and decide you still want to continue, then you can go looking for more information. There are a ton of internet marketing consultant out there who make their living on the internet and are willing to help show you the way. Most of the time you have to sign up to these sites and even pay some money or buy their product. This may or may not be wise because they have mixed results, but this method does work for a lot of people so do not assume it is all scams.

If you do not have much money to throw around, you can still do pretty much everything yourself. The internet is a bastion for information and you can find anything and everything for free. So if you want to put in the work, you can set up your business completely solo. The only thing you are really forced to pay for is your website’s domain name. But that is a very small amount of money.

If you use the information available on the internet, both freely obtained and information and advice gotten from internet marketing consultant, then you can set yourself up a nice online business. Just remind yourself that it will not happen over night. You can go months without seeing any money, but you just need to consistently work it until it starts making you the money you want.

If all you do is poke it with a stick once a week, it will never make you any money. Treat it like a business and it will treat you to money in return.

STOP Don’t Buy That Web Hosting Reseller Plan!

By , February 26, 2015 10:32 pm

Before you pay $24.95 a month or more for that reseller web hosting plan, read this article and at least evaluate all of your options. A reseller plan generally offers you more space and bandwidth then a regular shared hosting plan. However one thing to keep in mind that a reseller plan is still a form of a shared hosting plan. It’s not a dedicated server, and there will be other sites on the same IP address and server as yours. So what other alternatives do you have to host multiple sites for one monthly price?
Interesting enough several of the hosting companies that offer these reseller plans are at once now immediately offering multiple domain name setup on one shared hosting account. What exactly does this mean?
Let’s go through a scenario, you signup for a shared hosting account at Hostgator.com. At the time of writing this article, Hostgator is offering unlimited sites hosted on the 3 larger plans of the four they offer. So once you’re setup you can login to you cpanel, and through their add-on domains/sub domains link you can begin to add two, three, four or more domains to that one account. Is this a possible feature you can take advantage of?
If you’re not running a small hosting company that needs separate admin panel screens for your users to visit, view stats, setup their own email addresses etc. Then this is definitely something you should consider. If you have several medium to small sites you’re running online you might as well save the money a reseller plan will cost you and go for a multiple site shared hosting plan.
Another feature you may want to look for at the hosting company of your choice selection alternatives is what their upgrade options are. If you start with a shared hosting plan, with 3000 MB of space and 8 GB of bandwidth and you begin to outgrow it after 6 months to a year. Will your hosting provider allow you to upgrade to a larger account? Will they help move the sites to the new server? Always think down the road and where your web sites will be in 6 months, 1 year.
Since you took the time to read this you may have saved yourself $15 too $20 bucks a month; and remember while a reseller plan offers multiple admin panels and domains it’s still a shared hosting plan. So really the only difference between a reseller plan and shared plan is the accessibility to setup your plans, and have separate cpanels. Its kind of a shared plan on steroids, just weigh that info against the price of the plan before you dive in.

Make Money With Affiliate Programs In 3 Steps

By , February 26, 2015 2:48 am

Many people are learning how to make money online, and specifically, how to make money with affiliate programs. Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to get started online because you don’t need to sell your own product or service. All you have to do is sell someone else’s product or service and you make a commission.

There are 3 steps to affiliate marketing. First, you need to find the product or service that you want to promote. Secondly, you need to make sure that your offer is in front of a lot of people. And lastly, you need to build a list of the people who you show the product/service to, regardless of whether they end up buying it.

Where do you find the product or service you want to promote? ClickBank is one of the most popular sites that you can use and it’s also very quick and easy to get started. All you need to do is register for free and then go into the MarketPlace section. Here you can try search what you might want to promote by category or keywords. I recommend you sort your choice by “gravity” which is not the only important factor but it’s a very good indicator if you’re just starting out. You can get into a lot more complicated analysis of the “right” products later on. Once you choose a product, just click on hoplink, put in your clickbank NickName, and you’ve got your affiliate link, ready to promote.

Once you’ve chosen your product/service, you’ve come to the key of how to make money with affiliate programs. . .getting traffic to the program. You can use article directories to market your products but make sure that you concentrate on those that have high page ranks and allow affiliate links. Another option is pay-per-click (PPC) although you need to read the affiliate program’s rules before you try this. Some affiliate companies do not allow the use of their name in PPC ads for example. And one of the easiest and most popular ways to make money with affiliate marketing is to place links on blogs.

The last step is a little bit more complicated and can be done after you get the hang of the first two. Basically, you’ll want to make sure that you get the contact information of the people who show some interest in your product so that, even if they don’t buy it now, you can still keep in contact with them and they may end up purchasing either this product or something else you sell later on. In order to do this, you’ll need to create your own squeeze page which contains a contact form. You advertise this squeeze page and once someone fills in their contact information, you direct them to your affiliate link.

To make money with affiliate programs, it’s recommended to not depend too heavily on one product or one site.

Tips on buying unmetered bandwidth hosting

By , February 25, 2015 6:34 pm

Are you website require high monthly bandwidth for uploading and downloading files? And its hard to estimate how much bandwidth you will require for the next month either.

web hosting, unmetered bandwidth, midphase

Unmetered bandwidth hosting means that the hosting provider will not monitor or keep track how much bandwidth you already used up and how many remains for the month. Usually in cpanel control panel, you can see the bandwidth usage indicator on the left column. That’s the tracking of monthly bandwidth.

For unmetered bandwidth hosting, these bandwidth usage is not being tracked and recorded. This also means that you will not hit the bandwidth limits. And you are allow to use as much as you want.

Most the time, shared hosting plan, not only the unmetered bandwidth plan, will have usage limit. This will include the cpu usage limit, thread limits, files limit, mysql connection limits, and so on.

When you shop for unmetered bandwidth hosting, make sure your hosting plan are reasonable price. Usually these plan will cost extra 50%-100% compare to the shared hosting plan with bandwidth limits. Taking example the midphase hosting, their plan details at here http://www.midphasereview.org/midphase/midphase-hosting . Midphase normal shared hosting are price $8, and the unmetered hosting package will cost $13 dollars.

Remember that you are getting what you paid for. And definitely there will not be $3 dollars unmetered bandwith hosting that going to allow you to use all the bandwidth as you like.

Shop wisely, and look for the right hosting plan always!

The Nitty Gritty of choosing a website hosting company

By , February 24, 2015 2:26 pm

Does the web host company’s technical support function 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year around? Make sure you get a response for the web host company quickly not just the next day. Another thing to check is that the phone number they provide actually is answered by a real person.

website hosting

If you have a website or would like a website you’re going to need a website hosting company. The good news is there are tons out there to choose select decide from. The bad news is you’re going to have to learn a little bit about web hosting to be able to choose select decide the right one for you. That is what we are going to discuss in this article, to help you choose select decide the right web host for your company/personal website.

What is a web host company?

A web host provides the service that allows you to store the information that makes up your website. A web host stores your website’s information on a web server. Each time you type a web address into your browser , the browser asks for your website’s information from the web hosts server and then the browser displays it on your screen. Basically, if you don’t have a web host or your own server, you don’t have a website. Some ISP’s (Internet Service provider) provides web space but, this is not the type of web hosing we will be discussing.

Types of hosting plans

The next thing you are going to need to k at once now immediately is that there are different types of hosting that is available to you. There is virtual / shared hosting. What that means is that the web host company hosts more than one account on that server. There is also dedicated which basically means you would get your own server. Another type (which is not as common as the first two) is VPS (Virtual Private Server) and what it is, is ” virtual ” servers on the actual server and the user can add different modules within their server. The user can also allocate how much CPU usage or memory easy module gets. Most users will generally only need shared hosting unless you have a large website with over 5,000 visitors per day and large scripts. If that is the case you will need dedicated hosting.

Types of Operating Systems

There are three different types of operating systems for servers. There is Linux, Unix and of course Windows. Just because your computer is a PC doesn’t mean you have to opt for Windows web hosting. The operating system you use on your desktop has little to do with your choice selection alternatives of web hosts. As long as you understand how to use your FTP or web publishing software, your can use either operating system.

When it comes to Web hosting, Linux has for some time, been widely considered the best Operating System for Web servers. It’s typically found to be the most reliable, stable and efficient system. If your website, like most web sites, is what might be termed “brochure-ware” then Linux servers are ideal. A web site housed on a Linux operating system will have very high up-time and very low downtime.

If you intend to create your website using ASP, FrontPage, the .NET environment, Windows Streaming Media, Access, MSSQL, or any of the other Microsoft proprietary technologies then you probably need to use a Windows host. All other languages are able to be hosted on either platforms. Basically, unless you are specifically using features that are unique to one platform or another your time will be much better spent looking for a really good quality host than a really good quality server.

Email

If you have your own site, you would probably want to have email addresses at your own domain, like you@yourdomain.com. Does the host provide this with the package? Does it allow you to have a catch-all email account that allows any_e-mail@yourdomain.com to wind up being routed to you? Will you have the option to send auto responders for your e-mail accounts? Can you retrieve your mail with your email software? Can it be automatically forwarded to your current email address? Can you check your e-mail on the web? These are questions that you should ask when searching for the right web host.

Down time

This is extremely important. A website that is frequently down will lose a lot of visitors. If someone find discover realize s your site on the search engine, and clicks on it to find discover realize it us unavailable, they will simply shop somewhere else. Slow access is also very frustrating for visitors. How do you k at once now immediately if a web host is reliable or fast? The best way to find discover realize information about a web hosting company is to search the net. Once you have decided on a web host to check out, typetheir name in Google. As you look through the results, you will see that some of the pages that come up are actually reviews of that company. Now look at the review websites to see what everyone else is saying about potential web hosting companies. Remember to take reviews with a grain of salt. As reviews can usually be posted by anyone anonymously and you can’t please everyone all the time!

Traffic or Data transfer

Data transfer is the amount of bytes transferred from your website to visitors when they browse your website. Always look for details on how much traffic the package allows. To give you a rough idea of the typical traffic requirements of a website, most new websites are likely use less than 3GB of bandwidth per month. Your traffic requirements will grow over time, as your website becomes larger and more popular. You will need to check to see if you will automatically be charged for going over your bandwidth limit or are you expected to pre-pay for it. Personally, with my web host I have 30 GBs of data transfer and I host 7 domains and one sub-domains. I currently only use 750 MBs /month. My websites have a total of 30, 000 visits per month and have about 2 million hits/month.

Price

Unfortunately price is always a factor. You should realize that you often frequent many times get what you pay for, although it’s not necessarily true that the most expensive hosts are the best. Your best bet would be to go with a web host that is neither cheap nor expensive but, in between.

Technical support

Does the web host company’s technical support function 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year around? Make sure you get a response for the web host company quickly not just the next day. Another thing to check is that the phone number they provide actually is answered by a real person. This I k at once now immediately from personal experience. Make sure it is not an automated system that eventually ends with an answer machine that asks you to leave your name and number. Besides speed of responses, check to see if they are technically competent. You wouldn’t want to sign up for a host that is run by kids. Would you?

Adwords Success-No Longer Open Like The Wild West

By , February 24, 2015 6:01 am

In some ways, the internet is no longer the wild west. It used to be pretty easy to open an account and get almost immediate Adwords success, but not anymore.

As with most things online, times have changed. Adwords is far more challenging than it used to be and finding long term Adwords success require a lot of experience.

There is a lot that goes into creating a successful Adwords campaign. You first have to know which keywords you need to target to get just the right visitors to your site.

This is the first step and very important, but it is not simple. There are many factors that will determine if a keyword is a “good” keyword or not.

For example, you want a keyword that has quite a few monthly searches but not too much competition. But, what is “quite a few” and “not too much”?

That is where things can get tricky. To a large degree your exact parameters for those things will depend on the niche you are in and how much you can potentially earn from each visitor.

If you have a great conversion rate (the percentage of your website visitors who actually make a purchase) and you are selling a product where you will make a lot of money per sale, you can conceivably afford to spend more on each click.

But, the amount you can pay per keyword will be tough to figure too since it can vary from one person to another.

Google “rewards” those webmasters who know what they are doing. If you get a higher click through rate (the amount of people who see your ad and actually click on it) than you will be rewarded with a higher quality score.

If two people are bidding on the same keyword, the person with the highest quality score will get the click for less than the other guy.

As you can see, it can get very complicated (and very expensive) very quickly.

For this reason, I always advise people to get to know a little more about internet marketing before they try to use Adwords.

If you are brand new to the online world, you are likely to lose your shirt if you try to use Adwords right off the bat. There are just so many variables to make a good campaign in Adwords and to be successful.

If you really think that Adwords is the best way for you to get your business off the ground, you can hire someone who knows how to do it.

Of course, this too will add another expense to your online business and you must be careful that those so called “experts” really do know what they are doing.

You will need to be able to quantify their results in some way and that will mean you need to know how much each customer to your site is worth and what your conversion rate is.

Again, to increase your odds of having Adwords success, you may want to become familiar with the ins and outs of your online business first. If you don’t have a basic knowledge of how it all works, you won’t be able to measure your success or lack of success.

The Perils of Web Hosting on Search Engine Placements

By , February 23, 2015 10:39 am

Yes indeed, who would have thought it, but your web hosting provider could indirectly be costing you the chance of good…

seo news, seo articles

Yes indeed, who would have thought it, but your web hosting provider could indirectly be costing you the chance of good placements in the major search engine Google.

How can this be? Well the problem is the physical location of the hosting centre itself. Now, while you may feel you have signed up with a UK hosting company, actually all their hosting centres can be in a different country such as the US or Germany for example.

Now this little quirk doesn’t really have many side effects as you may well be getting very good value and good technical support from your host, but what it does mean is that if you do not have a geography specific domain suffix such as .co.uk

for the UK and instead you opt for a .org, .net, or .com then Google will use the geographical location of your hosting centre as the method for determining which local index your results should be found in.

By this I mean if you were to search www.google.co.uk with the radio button switched to UK results only, and your .com site was hosted by a UK hosting supplier but in a German datacentre, then you would never appear in the search results. Of course, you would appear in the www.google.de search results, but obviously not many German google users are looking for websites and businesses in English or relevant only to a UK audience.

There are plenty of studies out there suggesting search patterns on Google that say it is approximately 50 : 50 as to the number of people that click the “all the web” results on google.co.uk compared to searching only UK results. However, I personally do not believe this, if I am looking for a business where a product needs to be delivered or a service provided to me that involves phone or person to person support and contact, am I really going to search every website on the Internet?

No, I am only going to search across UK specific sites, and if I can’t find discover realize what I want then I will expand my search to include sites outside the UK.

It is unk at once now immediately n to me at this time whether a .co.uk site hosted outside the UK suffers any form of penalisation from Google in its ranking placements in the google.co.uk index, and is quite difficult to prove either way as search engines are notorious for providing as little information as possible as to how they operate.

Unfortunately there is no real way around this problem if you are already caught up in it other than move your hosting to an ISP that is actually based in the Country that they claim to be on all advertising etc. Always check beforehand if you are looking at a non .co.uk domain name for your site, as you do risk never getting the 100’s or 1000’s of search engine referrals that www.google.co.uk can provide you.

Below is a link to a tool that is useful for telling you the geographical location of your website, make sure you check it out if you are concerned about your site not being included in your local Google index, because there is nothing your hosting provider or Google can or will do about this occasion situation condition , so get educated and make sure your website gets seen in your local Google index.

Tools for locating where your website is hosted (http://www.dnsstuff.com/)

Instructions

1) Using the “Ping” tool, type in your domain name and you will be given the IP address of the machine your site is hosted on.

2) Copy and paste that IP address into the “tracert” tool, the final hop is the physical location of your website, so check this against the “Country” information on the right-hand side.

I don’t see this problem changing or easing any time in the near future, as the service provided by Google for geographical indexed is fundamentally sound and they have to use some method of discerning which Country group a site is relative to when it has a non-geographical domain suffix, however more and more people are being caught out by this without even realising it, because they believed they were signing up to a hosting provider in their own Country.

I hope this article helps, and please email me any of your stories / problems in this area. Good luck!

Internet Marketing Solution

By , February 22, 2015 8:54 am

If you have a business, the internet is a great way to advertise that business. Whether your business is online or off line you can find a great internet marketing solution to increase sales. Once you gain the knowledge of marketing in the online world, the sky is the limit to yielding significant returns.

These days, it is a must to have a website for your business. It can’t just be something for someone to go look at either you must optimize your website so that it works for you. Just like placing ads in the paper or in the phone book, your website must appeal to your customers and make them want to buy from you.

Keywords are another great internet marketing solution. If you optimize your site with the keywords that people are using to search for your type of product or service then the search engines will like your site and place you higher on their results pages so you are visible to the public. Just be careful not to overuse those specific keywords on your site or in your articles.

This is called keyword stuffing, or keyword spamming, and the search engines do not like this. They will boot you off or lower your rank and then you will not get any visitors to your site or make any sales. Play by the rules and you will have all the customers you want or need. Don’t play by the rules and you will need a lot more than customers to get back on the leading search engine results pages.

Learn how to host your own blog. This is a great way to directly advertise your product or service and you can get feedback from the people who buy from you. With regular postings you can keep your customers coming back, if the information you provide is quality content. You have to keep them interested. You can also put backlinks in that take your readers directly to your website when they want to buy something. This is a great way to stay solid in the search engine rankings.

As an online business person you want to be as up close and personal with your customers as you can be, right? Why not learn how to increase your online presence by using the social networking sites? You can offer discounts to your “friends” and can easily let everyone know when you have a new product or service coming out that they may want to try. You can put a link directing your customers to your website here, too.

The more exposure you have online, the more people will think they “know” you and when someone knows you they can begin to trust you. Using video will let them see your face and when they can identify with you they will more likely buy from you. If you embed your site with a short video about what product or service you offer you can personally invite customers to try that product or service. What an awesome internet marketing solution.

The Price Of Web Hosting Continues To Drop

The price of web hosting continues to drop as competition continues to increase.

Web hosting is a relatively new industry which did not exist fifteen years ago. All web sites were being hosted by local internet service providers. Only large companies used to have their own websites. Things are very different at once now immediately . Not only do the small and medium sized companies have websites but more and more individuals have websites as well.

There are businesses at once now immediately that are thriving on the internet. Thousands of individuals also have their own websites as the internet becomes a major source of information. Work from home concepts are catching on and the internet is changing the way people do business. The trend of people owning more than one domain name is increasing. Some internet entrepreneurs have fifty or hundred web sites each.

The first impression one gets from looking at current trends is that the future of web hosting looks bright. It is going to be a period of competition for market share in a fiercely fought out market. Everyday more and more small and medium businesses are looking to build, improve or maintain a web presence. These changes will be beneficial to the well-managed and fast growing small and medium sized web hosts.

Personal websites are expected to increase as well. Reducing costs and relatively easy site building tools will bring more non-techies into the market.

Price will be the enormous large big changing factor to look at. Competition will be fierce as web hosting companies continue to offer more features, but price always seems to be the first feature most people look at.

In the years ahead, web hosts will find discover realize that to stay viable and profitable, in a market place that is growing ever more competitive that they must not only offer fully featured plans, good connectivity and reliability, but also be willing and able to respond to the diverse queries from their customers.

Why are web hosting prices coming down?

One reason is that some of these web hosting providers are newer companies. They are probably trying to get business or their operational costs are lower than the other web hosting companies. In early days the infrastructure cost was very high, but that has been reduced significantly.

Newer players in the web hosting industry invest comparatively less. So how do cheap web hosting providers manage this? Part of it is that servers, hard drive space and bandwidth are much, much less expensive than they were several years ago. Cheap web hosting providers capitalize on this fact. Moreover at once now immediately there is much more business then ten years ago. Big volumes at lower margins work in this industry as well.

Until recently, web hosts attempted to compete by providing the most tools and features. The problem with this model is that it can be overwhelming for the average person. Some web hosts have a cheap upfront rate and then charge you additionally for almost every other feature. Customization is becoming more popular where you pay only for what you use. It is important never to compromise on quality.

Anyway we will continue to see the prices of web hosting going down in the future as competition stays fierce.
